Two Rabbinical Letters from Rabbi Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel to Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tucazinsky, Vaad HaYeshivos and Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac HaLevi Herzog. Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel (1880-1953) was the Sephardi chief rabbi of Mandatory Palestine from 1939 to 1948, and of Israel from 1948 until his death in 1953. Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tucazinsky (1871–1955) was a halachic scholar and author who served as rosh yeshiva of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He is best known for his work on the laws of mourning, Gesher HaChaim.
