Rare French Bronze Automaton Fountain Mantel Clock, Circa 1830. Patinated and gilt bronze modeled as a castle. Enamel dial, chimes every 30 minutes, working condition. Glass rod driven by a separate mechanism imitating a jet of water (working condition), comes out of a lion's mouth towards a gilt bronze water trough. Height: 45cm. Minor flaws to the enamel dial, both mechanisms were professionally serviced and restored.
