Fryderyk Fryc Kleinmann (Poland, 1897-1943) - Watercolor on Paper. Signed. 18.5x25.5cm. Fryderyk Kleinman - Polish painter, graphic artist and stage designer of Jewish origin. He studied in Krakow, Vienna and Paris. His drawings appeared in the Lvov press, including in the satirical weekly "Szczutek" and in "Sygnaly" and "Chwili". He mainly painted in watercolors and pastel. Together with Kazimierz Sichulski, he created a collection of caricatures of writers and artists at the Atlas restaurant in Lvov. He also designed costumes and puppets for Lvov theaters: the satirical theater Semafor, the Jewish Theater and Warsaw: Azazel and Ararat. Died in 1943 in the concentration camp at Janowska in Lvov.
