Extremely Rare French Sterling Silver Vacuum Coffee Machine Condenser Pot, Patent of Pierre Veyron, 1840s.

Amazing coffee maker made of sterling silver executed by Jean Francois Veyrat (renowned silversmith from Paris).

Engraved floral and foliage ornaments, stylized handles, burner, superbly decorated tap.

the top with the original glass tube.

Marked with French silver marks, maker's mark for Jean Francois Veyrat.

Also marked with the inventor's brand mark - Brevet d'Invention Veyron, Paris.


Way of action: Stove heats the upper vessel; the steam pushed the water contained in it downwards through the small tube and the filter.

The ground coffee was placed in the bottom container.

Turning off the flame the steam condensed and quickly sucked up the drink obtained.
