Abraham Reiner Silver Torah Shield TAS, Warsaw, Poland, 1876, Judaica. Chased with flowers and scroll foliage ornaments. Typical applied symbols including - two ramping lions flanking a Torah crown on top of two embossed pillars. The center of the shield is applied with two hinged pierced doors that open to reveal a miniature Torah scroll model. With a hanging chain. Hinged (on the reverse) plaque box includes a double sided plaque with the Hebrew inscription "Sabbath" on one side and "Passover" on the other (later replacement). 
Marked (each part) with Polish silver marks for Warsaw, dated 1876, Maker's mark for Abraham Reiner, assayer mark for Josef Sosnkowski.25.5x22cm.644gr.
